Community Engagement and GBV Event

Members of the CSVR team will be visiting Dublin for research collaboration activities in November 2023. During the visit, GDHP Research Officer, Naledi Joyi, will deliver a seminar on Community Engagement and Gender-Based Violence, drawing on a recent report completed by CSVR. The seminar will explore the organisation's approach to community interventions, which is based on participatory research. 

Naledi will present the methodology used in a recent report that explored the context-specific factors which enabled the continuous rise of rape in a rural town in the Eastern Cape, called Lusikisiki.
